Fire Tube
The fire and flue gases are on the inside of the tube
while the water is on the outside. Pressure ranges from 15 to 300 PSI, water or
steam. |
Water Tube
The water is on the inside of the tube while the
flame and flue gases are on the outside. Pressure on the Water Tube Boiler far
exceed the pressure on the Fire Tubes and range from 150 to 2500 PSI. |
Fire Box
Fire Box Boilers have a special box where the flame
burns. The flame passes through tubes and out the stack, a process that is similiar to the
Fire Tubes in that the flue gases are inside the tubes. Pressure ranges from 15 to
150 PSI, water or steam. |
